HMX from HodaModa International LLC is a single product designed to provide the user with a high degree of personal privacy both on the internet and on their local notebook or desktop computers.

With increasing government interest in all online communications it is likely that all internet users will be exposed to some form of snooping sooner or later. It is also important to understand that a great deal of the online data transfers, messages and activities will eventually end up on a user’s hard disk. Governments and agencies are already putting pressure on companies dedicated to protecting your privacy and have already used the court systems to force vendors to expose user data. We have been in this business for a great many years and we are experienced in this field. We have added a unique layer of protection to keep our users safe and that makes it impossible for anyone in the HodaModa team to expose user data. 

To provide all users with a reasonable level of privacy we developed HMX to provide privacy and protection both locally and in the cloud. This is the only way in which your private information and data can be protected at all times.

HMX provides up to 8 securely encrypted drives on your notebook or desktop and each drive can be up to 1 terabyte in size (depending on your physical drive space available and the edition of HMX purchased). A great many users have a vast collection of media files they may want to keep private or just keep away from the kids. HMX provides a really easy solution for this by embedding a secure media player that can play encrypted media files – direct from your HMX encrypted drive, without decrypting the whole media file. This means the movie stays encrypted – even while you are viewing it.

Many users also need to transfer confidential files to each other such as financial spreadsheets, accounts, contractual documents etc. HMX provides a secure file archive system that allows a user to encrypt a set of files into an archive and send the file to a named individual, safe in the knowledge that the only person who can open and view the files is the intended recipient.

Finally, we added the ability to secure your data in the cloud. HMX supports DropBox and SkyDrive to allow you to securely transfer and manage remote online drives and even encrypts the data on the remote servers making it impossible for any hosting provider to disclose the data to any government source. HMX also provides the ability to send encrypted tweets to pre-defined groups (managed by the user) meaning only members of the recipient group can read the tweets. We also provide the ability to post encrypted messages to Facebook users walls – and all without leaving the HMX application.
